Abstract
This is an interview with Mildred Johnstone (nee Thompson) from Dunstaffnage, P.E.I. Mildred begins by telling about the Apple Tree Stewarts, wharves, and boats on the Hillsborough River. She then talks about the history of Dunstaffnage, her grandfather, the Vickersons, the Stewarts, and diphtheria. She tells about breeding cattle, buffalo robes, quiet sundays, farming, and her family. Mildred then talks about wool and Thompson's Mill, her grandmother, her first car ride, and taking the train. Throughout the interview she mentions horses, farming, milk and butter, sheep, mills, and her family.
