Abstract
This interview is with Edwin Clay of Bridgetown, P.E.I. Edwin begins by telling about his family and the Bridgetown area. He then tells about his school years, general stores, wharves, and working at a cheese factory. He then goes on to talk about blacksmiths, the history of his house, saw and grist mills, and Ms. Fair's Beer and Livery. Discussion of general stores continues, and Edwin tells about fishing on the Boughton River. He talks about transportation, ploughing, mills, and briefly mentions rum and fox ranching.
