Abstract
This is an interview with Elsie Harris Collier (nee Bowdridge) of Murray Harbour, P.E.I. and formerly Burgeo, Newfoundland. In this interview Elsie talks about growing up in Newfoundland, her siblings, scarlet fever and other ailments, doctors, home remedies, her parents, her family history, fishing, the 1929 earthquake, dogsleds, sealing, shipwrecks and drownings, forerunners, and various other topics.
