| Interview Summary: This is the sixth tape of several interviews with Captain Thomas Trenholm of Murray Harbour, P.E.I. Captain Tom begins by telling a story about sailing back from New York on the M. M. Gardner and almost crashing into the Devil's Limb off of Seal Island. He then talks about the Marine, explains "slushing the spars", and tells a story about almost colliding with the Victory Chimes. He goes on to talk about marine chronometers, tugboats, and rum runners. |
